The context

Developed by NTOPROG, Exchange API is an application programming interface that provides easy access to indicative exchange rates published by the Central Bank of Congo (BCC). Through REST endpoints and structured JSON responses, it enables applications, financial platforms, and management systems to retrieve current exchange rates as well as available historical data for each currency. The solution simplifies the integration of exchange rate data into invoicing tools, accounting systems, financial management platforms, and business applications.

The business challenge

Businesses and developers need reliable, up-to-date exchange rates for their financial operations. The challenge was to make the BCC’s indicative exchange rates easily accessible, structured, and usable across different IT systems.
